Brock Lesnar returned from his month off looking like a lean, mean Ultimate Fighting machine, and - typical of anytime he's got MMA on his mind rather than pro wrestling - was a f*cking absolute riot.

The likelihood is that Vince McMahon parked one of his HD lorries full of cash outside Brock Lesnar's farm ahead of their return to Saudi Arabia, but why consider the realities of the situation when the fantasy is substantially more entertaining?

A fiendishly entertaining f*ck finish, Brock Lesnar's late play for both men was spun by Michael Cole as a revenge attack for his binned SummerSlam rematch, and it was hard to argue with a logic that resulted in such a pleasing assault.

'The Beast' entering 'The Devil's Playground' by kicking the door in and walking up it brought to mind memories of his old athletic tag team partner Shelton Benjamin doing it during the very first Money in the Bank ladder match. Back then, the former Team Angle member was chasing the type of financial autonomy Brock enjoys today - his show-closing march through the rank-and-file was a rapid reminder of just how valuable he can still be.
