10 WWE Joke Pushes That Stopped Being Funny

3. The B-Team

Without an almighty dose of luck, it's almost impossible to get over and stay there in 2018 WWE.

A push can be ixnay'ed or hijacked at a moment's notice, sometimes not even by design. Monday Night Raw in particular is a quivering house of cards, shook most by terrified wrestlers quaking in their boots awaiting the death of their push or a stay of execution depending on the awfulness of the scripting that particular week.

The B-Team are emblematic of the malfunctioning empire. The proverbial right-twice-a-day stopped clock, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axels are losing upwards. Bereft of purpose enough to bump around for The Miz in 2017, their lack of direction following his departure to SmackDown Live! resulted in them fluking a series of wins that even their name implies couldn't possibly happen if wrestling were real. WHICH. IT. IS. SUPPOSED. TO. BE.

A Tag Team title match with Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy was thankfully booted off Money In The Bank's card before it stole unearned focus, but the feud limps on regardless until they either score huge and scoop the gold or lose like the losers they are. The latter renders the push a waste of time and talent, the former a reminder that the former Champions are scrubs on the level of the new ones.
