Val Venis is one of the most memorable yet controversial figures of WWE's famed Attitude Era. Portraying the character of a porn star, Venis rose to popularity during the same time that other characters found success by embracing the controversy.

In addition to Val Venis, the Attitude Era saw Charles Wright (the former Papa Shango and Kama) portraying a pimp, Stone Cold Steve Austin personifying a beer-chugging, foulmouthed redneck, and the Road Dogg basing much of his character around smoking weed. There were certainly other characters that graced the squared circle during the late 90s, but Val is one of the few that got the most attention.

This makes it an unfortunate reality that Mattel has yet to produce an action figure representing the Big Valboski. Obviously with Mattel's sponsorship, the WWE's PG rating must be a factor, but that didn't stop the toy manufacturer from producing both Godfather and Road Dogg, or other Attitude Era counterparts such as "Bad A**" Billy Gunn, and Rikishi.

For any Attitude Era action figure collection to be complete, Val Venis must be included.
