Perhaps you, like many wrestling fans, have heard more than enough by now about the Montreal Screwjob. But even leaving aside that crucial piece of WWE history, a documentary about the intertwined careers of the Heartbreak Kid and the Excellence of Execution would be a great way to tell the story of two all time greats.

The pair were perfect mirrors in and out of the ring - both at the heads of their respective factions, Hart and Michaels clashed in so many ways - humble versus arrogant, technical versus high flying, the family man and the party animal. In spite of - and maybe because of - these differences, though, they gelled so well in the squared circle.

What’s more, both men are older, and in the case of Michaels, very much changed since his tearaway younger days. They’ll never be best pals, but their differences are behind them, and to see the two talking about their illustrious careers side by side would be fascinating.

Neither performer has exactly been shy about sharing their opinions on the business, and each has a career chock full of drama that would more than fill a documentary series. Each would be worthy of a solo effort, but their most fascinating stories come as a reluctant double act.
