10 WWE Legends Who Should Get The "Last Ride" Treatment Next
5. Sting
The Stinger was pretty much the last piece of the puzzle in terms of Vince McMahon’s WCW acquisitions, and regrettably, he made the move a little too late in his career. Sting's run wasn’t what it could have been had the Vigilante come over in something closer to his prime.
A long-form documentary would be a way to right those wrongs, and to celebrate someone who seems like one of the business’ good guys. Sting versus Undertaker is one of the last real dream matches (or was, anyway), and the two have careers of similar heft: faces of their respective brands, and perennial main eventers.
Given his status as Mr. WCW, it’s likely WWE would be unable to resist yet more boasting regarding their victory in the Monday Night Wars, but few could give such insight into that company as Sting, from the pre-Ted Turner days to the glory years and eventual decline.
Another performer who has faced and overcome his share of personal demons, Sting’s story is an enormously compelling one - and with the recent suggestion he might be open to one more match with Undertaker, there’s a ready made angle.
