10 WWE Legends Who STILL Aren't In The Hall Of Fame
8. Dynamite Kid
Dynamite Kid is one of the best wrestlers to come out of Britain.
Our local boy is most famous for teaming with Davey Boy Smith at the British Bulldogs, but his career was so much more than that. After breaking through the limited British scene, he made his way to Calgary to join Stampede Wrestling, who already had a tight partnership with WWE.
Despite being one of the top wrestlers in the business, Dynamite had a strained relationship with Vince McMahon, which likely contributed to him not being inducted.
During his run with WWE, a serious injury put him in hospital. When Bret "Hitman" Hart was sent to get the Tag Team title belts from him, Kid refused and sent him away. Then, when it was time for the Bulldogs to drop the straps, he declared he'd only lose them to the Hart Foundations. Superb loyalty to Stampede Wrestling, but not the best way to get on with your boss.
Kid's last match in WWE was at Survivor Series 1988; he became a wrestling journeyman after that, before retiring in the mid-1990s when injuries caught up with him. He'd continue to have serious health issues until he sadly passed away in 2018.
The real life Thomas Billington didn't get to live up to his potential, but he was still one of the best.
Don't just take our word for it. Bret called him "Pound-for-pound, the greatest wrestler who ever lived." Can you get higher praise than that?
