10 WWE Legends Who STILL Aren't In The Hall Of Fame
2. Chyna
Triple H has spoken out about why Chyna hasn't been inducted on her own, but time heals all wounds.
The Ninth Wonder Of The World got her posthumous ring awarded as part of D-Generation X, along with Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac. Founding member "Ravishing" Rick Rude didn't go in with them, but that's a story for another time...
Chyna was a genuine game-changer in WWE. To put her legacy down to simply being a part of DX just won't cut it with fans.
Most records that start with "First woman to..." end with Chyna. She held the Intercontinental Championship, entered the men's Royal Rumble match, and nearly challenged "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam 1999. They actually produced a graphic for the last one...
Chyna was in WWE at a time when Vince McMahon was hiring models to frolic around in matches that'd get the brand cancelled these days. She was a trailblazer who worked as a bodyguard for the top male stars, then feuded with them as well.
We're not going to talk about what happened to her after she left WWE, but, after a troubled end to her life, seeing her name on its own in the Hall Of Fame would be a fitting tribute.
