How is The Rock not in the Hall Of Fame yet?

His peak as a wrestler was 1999-2001, when he took over from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and became one of the most popular babyfaces of WWE's boom period.

Austin went into the Hall Of Fame a long time ago. Kane, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Triple H, and The Undertaker have all been given their rings too. Most of the Attitude Era's stars are in, so why hasn't Dwayne Johnson been inducted?

The Rock implied to Digital Spy in 2023 that he doesn't think WWE wants to induct active wrestlers, but when Rey Mysterio went in it opened the floodgates. Dwayne Johnson has only wrestled a handful of matches in the last 20 years anyway, so it's not like he's grafting on Raw and SmackDown each week.

Goldberg won the Universal Championship as a part-time Hall Of Famer!

If Rocky Maivia stays true to his word, then it's only a matter of time before he goes in. If he ends up facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 in his last ever match, he might even be inducted on the same weekend.

He should be in there ASAP. Along with Austin, he was one of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era. The way he's gone from wrestling to Hollywood is a rise unlike anybody else in the business, even Hulk Hogan.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
