10 WWE Main Roster Stars That Could Jump To NXT THIS WEEK

9. Chad Gable

Chad Gable's incredible King Of The Ring run was perfectly in keeping with his incredible talent and incredible knack for getting any and everything over with said skill.

Jason Jordan, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Roode were all in worse places when he found them than when he (inexplicably, each time) left them, and his matches in every round of the brilliant 2019 iteration of the regal tournament shone in spite of some reductive booking entirely focussed on his (irrelevant) diminutive stature.

At this point, he's effectively a living representation of how things would go for Johnny Gargano if he ever got the call to move to Mondays or Tuesdays, and perhaps all the reason why the former NXT Champion looked so thrilled to be staying put on the final Network-era edition of the show.

Now imagine the former American Alpha man back there with him.

The bangers these two could have. The bangers Gable could have with anybody, for that matter are numerous and - crucially - possible, thanks to the way NXT has been structured to facilitate and support great wrestling rather than diminish and neuter it. Gable's King Of The Ring fairytale came to an end at the final hurdle, but any probable push will almost certainly have done so too.
