10 WWE Matches John Cena Absolutely MUST Have In 2025
8. Perfect Heel For A Sh**-Kicking
Not every match during this John Cena “The Last Time Is Now” tour needs to be an epic back-and-forth affair. In fact, a high-profile squash or three would be tremendous fun. And there’s no more perfectly suited heel for the role than the eminently punchable Dominik Mysterio.
Dirty Dom could very easily trash-talk his way into a match with Cena, calling out his friendship with Dom’s “deadbeat dad,” Rey Mysterio and drawing comparisons to the Hall-of-Famer and accusing Cena of stealing the spotlight from the legends of tomorrow – like himself.
Whether Mysterio is still flanked by the Judgment Day as of the time of this match or going it alone, Dominik has become a pretty prolific rule-bender and should be able to take enough shortcuts to get a couple heart-in-throat near-falls to panic the audience for a minute.
But Cena will invariably rise above the mullet and pick up the win in what would be a match with nuclear heat.
