10 WWE Matches So Goofy They're Actually Great

4. DX Vs. The Spirit Squad (Saturday Night's Main Event, 15/7/2006)

While it did eventually get old to see two men in their forties burying five promising new talents, you can't deny that this was a very fun match to watch.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels, reunited by their mutual issues with Vince McMahon, reformed D-Generation X and tormented McMahon at every turn. They defaced his jet, his office building in Stamford, CT -- which you could actually see from the highway when you drove by -- and embarrassed the boss with parodies and references to his love of roosters.

McMahon recruited the villainous quintet to help fight DX, and set up a handicap elimination tag match for a revamped edition of Saturday Night's Main Event.

Full of nonsense involving foreign objects, double-team spots, and McMahon's interference, this pseudo-squash match -- called by an unusually animated and snarky Jim Ross -- still managed to be damn entertaining.
