10 WWE Matches That Didn't Know When To End

14 minutes is how long was decided to give Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler in their god-awful WrestleMania XXVII match. And that's not counting the post-match BS that followed this horrendous contest.

Decked out in amateur wrestling headgear and with his prison tattoos on display, Cole actually went down as the winner in this content thanks to a cheap DQ victory after the anonymous Raw GM declared him the winner. Forget Jerry Lawler though, for the real loser of this match was the watching audience.

If WWE wanted the cheap win for Cole, fine, but that is something that could've been done in half the time it took for this match to play out to its close.

Just when you thought the King was close to wrapping up a victory and bringing this match to an end, Cole would fudge his way out of that particular predicament. Then, even when Cole tapped out and the match concluded, we were "treated" to all of the post-match controversy.

To give some context on the time afforded to Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler at WrestleMania XXVII, the match was longer than that PPV's bouts of World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio, US Champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes, and was only a matter of seconds shorter than Randy Orton vs. CM Punk.

Basically, the only matches given significantly more time than Cole vs. Lawler were Triple H vs. The Undertaker, and The Miz defending the WWE Championship against John Cena.
