More fun than a pair of blown quadriceps muscles though.

The 2005 Royal Rumble threatened to descend into chaos when John Cena and Batista (who was the planned winner) tumbled over the ropes at exactly the same moment. As the referees struggled to make sense of things and find a solution, Vince McMahon boiled over backstage and eventually ran out to sort the situation.

When he attempted a slide into the ring, Vince shred both his quads and had to comically sit down against the bottom rope as refs asked their boss what to do next. The whole thing was a disaster, one that made a mockery of the Rumble's planned conclusion. Surely the resultant restart idea could've been bawled over the headset from backstage?

The bizarre image of a pained Vince directing traffic from the canvas would've been avoided then, and so would the freak injury. That, it's easy to imagine, must have made McMahon even angrier than he already was beforehand.
