10 WWE Matches That Prove This Is The Best Era In Women's Wrestling
1. Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks - NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn
To put Bayley and Sasha Banks' epic clash in perspective, a Finn Balor-Kevin Owens' ladder match was the main event, but everyone left Brooklyn's Barclays Center talking about the ladies.
That and this jaw-dropping battle isn't only considered as arguably the greatest women's match in WWE history, but one of the greatest matches, period. The back-and-forth, heart-pounding, this-is-awesome action included Bayley reversing Sasha's Bank Statement into a Bank Statement of her own.
If that wasn't enough of a holy-crap moment, Bayley delivered an unreal inverted Frankensteiner from the top ropes, before springing back onto her feet and rushing Sasha with a Bayley-to-Belly Suplex for the pinfall to become the new NXT Women's champ. Absolutely incredible.
This is the kind of once-in-a-lifetime match you can't duplicate ... unless the women do just that in Orlando at WrestleMania 33. Imagine that.
In the meantime, enjoy looking back on this epic match.
