Oh. Dear.

Vince McMahon isn't the kind of dude who likes to talk about failure, but even he'd probably have to admit that crowning Mabel 'King Of The Ring' in 1995 was a huge mistake. Worse, the former comedy tag wrestler went through The Undertaker in the quarter finals en route to his coronation.

Fans attending the memorably terrible pay-per-view had literally just watched fellow favourite Shawn Michaels be eliminated from the running, and it didn't sit well with anyone in Philly when 'Taker followed suit. Mabel's triumph, and the HBK vs. Kama draw, meant that only Savio Vega, The Roadie or the Men On A Mission man could win the thing.

People sat on their hands during 'Taker vs. Mabel, and rightly so. This was a dire chapter for one of WWE's greats. The Undertaker could've been forgiven for wondering if WWF employment was some sort of torture technique after suffering Bundy and Mabel.
