10 WWE Mid-Carders Who Never Get The Credit They Deserve
8. Perry Saturn
Longtime fans of WCW will remember exactly what Perry Saturn was capable of: a former WCW Television and (two-time) Tag-Team Champ, the robust Saturn had excellent matches in the Atlanta promotion with everyone from Booker T and Raven to Chris Jericho and even the rookie Goldberg.
Saturn would never reach the same level as friends like Chris Benoit or Eddie Guerrero, even though he jumped to the WWF with them and Dean Malenko at the turn of the new millennium. Simply being involved in The Radicalz - a group the McMahon family couldn't wait to get their hands on - shows how well thought of Perry was.
Even when he was handed the loopy story that called for him to develop feelings for a household mop, the man didn't miss a beat as he captured fan imagination and referred to the item as 'Moppy'. Right then and there, WWE officials should have realised that Saturn had more personality than they perhaps first thought.
Whether cast as a hard-man in ECW and WCW or as an out-there weirdo in WWE, Perry Saturn made the best of countless bad situations.
