'The Samoan Submission Machine' has reached the pinnacle of every federation he's fought for, other than WWE. ROH, TNA, even WWE's own NXT were conquered, but he's just been unable to capture the big one on either Raw or SmackDown.

It's not like there hasn't been opportunities either - Joe has competed for the universal title against 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar and the WWE title numerous times against long time foe AJ Styles. He's never been given the go ahead to actually raise the gold above his head however.

Instead, Joe has currently been relegated to holding the US championship - a consolation prize indeed, but still not what Joe's fans had dreamed of. This seems it might be as far as Joe will be allowed to go, which is a shame seeing as he could easily be portrayed as one of the most dominant heels in the industry today - with the look, mic skills and intensity to back it up.

You can bet your bottom dollar AEW wouldn't let such a talent go underutilised. Joe is the villain you can build a company around and AEW would be foolish not to do just that. WWE's loss would be their gain. All they would have to do is be brave enough to pull the trigger on Joe as their guy and he would do the rest, by putting the majority of their roster to sleep!
