6. The “Vicious” Viking Raiders

This one might qualify for that status too.

Boot up episodes of SmackDown from June and you'll likely hear play-by-play man Michael Cole shouting his head off about The "Vicious" Viking Raiders. No, not the plain old Viking Raiders. The "Vicious" variety. This was as Vince McMahon as you're gonna get, folks.

Erik and Ivar rarely referred to themselves using that moniker, so it's possible they thought it was the sh*ts and just wanted to go about their business sans vicious-ness. The name had long-since fizzled out by the time they ended their rivalry with New Day in September; Cole was the only one harping on about it for a few weeks anyway.

Those keeping score at home may point out that this was yet another name change for the former War Machine. Since joining WWE in 2018, they've been the War Raiders, Viking Experience, Viking Raiders, and "Vicious" Viking Raiders. If this continues, they'll be the "Vivacious" Viking Raiders by next year's SummerSlam.

Stupid sexy vikings.
