10 WWE Moments That Destroyed The 'Fiend' Character

Tracing back to his 'Eater of Worlds' persona, Bray Wyatt fans have awaited the addition of a female companion. During his cult leader days, his partner in crime would have been Sister Abigail. WWE tried to pull the trigger on this idea but decided the best way to do so was to have Wyatt cosplay as Abbie during his 2017 feud with Finn Balor. Of course, this was far from what anyone wanted.

Lately, Alexa Bliss has joined 'The Fiend' in a bizarre union that has yet to be fully explored. After Extreme Rules 2020, the two ghoulies had an affliction for each other. Such an entanglement suggested Wyatt had a vulnerability, one which Randy Orton tried to exploit before their match at TLC.

Orton later discovered fire to be much more efficient, but on the 30 November 2020 episode of Raw, he baited 'The Fiend' with Bliss. The segment not only showed a crack in Wyatt's armor, but it also made him look like an outright softie.

Unraveling his portrayal as a heartless killer clown, the skit saw 'The Fiend' beg for 'The Viper' to hand over Bliss unscathed. Orton complied, gently tossing Bliss into Wyatt's arms before quietly exiting the ring.

What threat Bliss posed to 'The Fiend's' invulnerability, we still don't know. Nevertheless, if WWE intends on keeping this pair together for a while, it would be best to treat them as a dark, violent duo rather than two emo kids falling apart without each other.
