10 WWE Money In The Bank 2018 Impulse Reactions

1. Winners And Losers

With Alexa Bliss back atop the Women's division, it fell to her Mixed Match Challenge beau Braun Strowman to capture the men's briefcase and hopefully make use of being the only male on the entire show that isn't a complete loser when time comes for a cash-in.

In a match yet again structured around the carnage he's good at causing, the 'King Of Things' was a destroyer of humans and a human destroyer. Shortly after throwing Kevin Owens from the tallest ladder in the building through a table, Kofi Kingston and a load of ladders were left like a stack of pancakes before the 'Monster Among Men' broke a ladder with his own body to get back into the fray and eventually grab the golden ticket.

Well-constructed and paced, the match didn't particularly play to the strengths of the rest of the crew, because they haven't got any. Raw is a barren wasteland, with only Braun (and to a lesser extend, Finn Bálor's stunning wardrobe) left to cling on to. The right man has the case, but WWE can't make his next title run a joke like his last one. He has to save the Universe (and Universal Title) from Brock Lesnar - he's the only hope.
