Seth Rollins is over, and WWE thankfully know it.

In a rare case of the company seemingly trying to actually protect a relationship with the audience rather than sever it completely, 'The Architect' has been booked well almost every week - a near-impossibility in the era of bloated super-service. For the second pay-per-view in a row, Rollins was victimised by his legitimate weakness - the knee damaged during his feud with Triple H. The match could have called for Elias to be the one to cause it rather than Seth making a foolish error, but that again speaks to the faith in keeping his credibility alive whilst virtually every other performer suffers.

The rumours persist that it will be he that dethrones Brock Lesnar if and when 'The Beast' decides to f*cking show up, and whilst this may just be a case of extremely hopeful fantasy booking, it stands up to scrutiny each time Rollins somehow gets a ludicrous "Burn It Down" chant on the go.

Elias can feel grateful to Rollins for his best match so far, and a finish that inevitably triggers a rematch at Extreme Rules he might even win. If Seth is to shoot for the moon, he needs to make a few more stars first.
