You've got to feel sorry for Angelo Dawkins sometimes, because he's sort of shunted out of the conversation as The Street Profits' very own Marty Jannetty when folks talk about who'd work as a singles - it's Montez Ford who gets the bulk of attention in that chat.

In fairness, Montez is a stunning athlete, and he has charisma for days. MITB 2023 could be an opportunity for WWE to give him a trial run as a solo star by hauling down the briefcase but still promising to stick by Dawkins long-term. Creative may well offer an interesting twist on the cash-in formula too.

Would it be ridiculous if Ford trades his case for a shot at the Undisputed Tag straps? That's never really been done before, so it'd feel like something fresh for the writers. Failing that, strapping a rocket to Montez and seeing what he can achieve on his own wouldn't be the worst thing.

He deserves a chance.
