10 WWE Nightmares That Could Come True In 2024

9. Jade Cargill Can’t Live Up To Hype

WWE has done a sterling job of treating Jade Cargill like an absolute star since she joined.

She’s had face-to-face moments with everyone from Charlotte Flair to Becky Lynch, and has been tailed by Triple H on TV. Hell, 'The Game' even ducked down a bit so Jade and Charlotte looked larger than life on an episode of SmackDown. That's dedication to your craft, good sir.

Here's the problem with hype though. It can be killer. AEW found out first hand that maintaining interest in Cargill was difficult if she wasn’t allowed to show any weakness. So, as time marched on and her unbeaten stretch deepened, people showed less and less appetite for more. That’s WWE’s challenge in 2024.

Grabbing Jade away from Tony Khan proved quite the coup for WWE. They'd be shooting themselves in the foot by going the same lazy Goldberg-esque winning streak with her, but Cargill can't be some out-her-depth loser either.

Balance will be everything.
