2019-2023 was a wild period for WWE.

AEW launched as a hopeful competitor, WrestleMania took place in a training school, the company merged under one umbrella with UFC, Vince McMahon retired, returned and was put out to pasture again. Yeah, it's been a trip, so smart money goes on 2024 being chaotic too.

You know the deal when spotting that "nightmare" title though. This isn't about anything positive that could happen to WWE. Instead, the real focus here is on everything that could go wrong. Disasters, when put another way. Take any goodness and watch it go sour! Positivity? We don't need no stinking positivity.

Financially, WWE is in a really great place. The promotion rakes it in, so all of the nightmares spotlighted pile misery on an overworked creative team. Some key decisions from Triple H and his merry band of writers could, in theory, lead to some absolute carnage behind the scenes.

Speaking of which, might CM Punk's return irk settled stars like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch and more? Nothing is off the table when pre-analysing the coming 12 months.

Could this nightmare fuel happen?!

10. NXT Call-Ups Get Mishandled

It's only a matter of time before Bron Breakker, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez and Carmelo Hayes land on WWE's main roster. Truthfully, several of them have been ready to hit Raw and SmackDown for years, but this is a delicate process. Nobody wants to see any of the NXT standouts fail.

What if they do though? Oh God, what if they do?! What if Triple H has a Vince McMahon-sized brainfart and decides to repackage any of the four. Then, when quizzed, what if Hunter spews out the same guff about 'presenting these workers for a more casual market on the main roster'?

Breakker, Stratton, Perez and Hayes are fine as they are. None of the quartet's characters need to be tampered with, especially not when there's obvious crossover between viewers from Raw/SmackDown to NXT anyway.

These workers must be given every chance to succeed at a higher level. Going Keith 'Bearcat' Lee with them would be a huge mistake.
