SmackDown will officially jump from FOX to the USA Network in October 2024. That'll end WWE's five year stay on the former, and mean NFL fans will be spared Joe Buck pretending he gives a toss about Roman Reigns and The Bloodline right before calling his latest snap alongside Troy Aikman.

Early word coming out of WWE's camp is that Raw might be heading elsewhere itself. That'd immediately turn SmackDown into the 'A' show unless Monday nights find another major network home. That's likely, but...what if the company scrambles and adds on a third hour to Friday nights?

SmackDown has been a snappier watch than Raw for years simply because it's 60 minutes shorter. Yes, Raw is easier to digest in the Triple H era, but there's no call for Smackers to go supersized any time soon. That two hour window is a sweet spot, and it must stay put.

8 hours of mainline WWE TV (including NXT) sounds bloated.
