10 WWE NXT Main Roster Call-Ups That NEED To Happen In 2026
8. Je'Von Evans OR Ricky Saints
It's a relatively safe bet Oba Femi will lose the NXT Championship to either Je'Von Evans or Ricky Saints, likely around NXT Stand & Deliver. This allows Femi to join the main roster post-WrestleMania so one of those two—whoever is champion—can have their time on top of the division.
Whoever doesn't win the belt, though, is going to be in a bit of an awkward spot.
For instance, if Saints regains the title, Evans will have failed so many times at getting that belt and made such an impression on the main roster in recent weeks that WWE should just put him on Raw or SmackDown and take advantage of The Young OG already being a star. Saints can then have his time atop NXT for most of 2025 and heading into 2026 to be talked about for a call-up next year.
On the other hand, if Evans is who WWE wants to crown as the next champion, Saints will have already been feuding with him for these coming months. If he's not champion or challenger, what is there for him to do for the entire rest of the year that isn't repetitive or beneath him?
