10 WWE Personalities Who Need To Retire (For Good)

1. The Undertaker

The Undertaker It has to be said. While Taker, like Rock, HHH, etc can still wrestle, the question becomes why? If they were the younger guys a long time ago, can€™t young guys today rise to that level? Taker is by far one of my favorite wrestlers of all-time. He has always had a good character (regardless of how ridiculous), has always had good entrance music (the Ministry theme being my favorite) and always had the talent. With his size he does the dive out of the ring, €˜nuff said. While his Wrestlemania streak is to be held above most anything else, he has had some clunkers with mediocre opponents. But that doesn€™t matter, Taker always tried to do the best with what he was given. And most of his list of opponents are or will be Hall of Famers. He is a high percentage wrestler and attraction. His gear will always sell, his matches will always be watched and he will shine on far past his retirement. But how much can you really squeeze out of him? Taker is the most respected man in the WWE and has been for quite some time. Stories of his leadership and complete badassness are again, all over the internet. But let the Deadman rest. He was the glue of the company for so long and him leaving will open up a hole that might take a few guys to fill. (My opinion CM Punk comes closest, maybe because I see a bit of Taker in him.) What causes a problem is that Wrestlemania is Taker€™s thing. He could be out a whole year and start a feud a few months or less before the event and people are continually willing to see it. (A testament to Taker, not a detraction from the rest of the company.) He has spent his whole WWE career in the main events and rightfully so. On top of that, I can€™t remember much chatter from the dirt sheets being negatively aimed towards him. Kept under wraps or just not out there? Your call. Mine is that this man has very few enemies because he has such a great mind for the business and a respectful way of dealing with it. Let the Deadman Rest...In...Peace. Agree or disagree? There are certainly plenty of arguments out there, so get into the ring. Comment below and join the conversation.
