10 WWE PPV Matches That Prove Vince McMahon Lost It

Anyone buzzed for the thought of Shane McMahon in AEW should remember how in-your-face trash Shane-O's latter day WWE career could be. His ego must've been running wilder than Hulkamania in the 80s, because McMahon ended up calling himself the "Best In The World". He won World Cups and even beat Roman Reigns.

It's in the record books.

Vince willingly put his son over WWE's poster boy at Super ShowDown 2019. There is context, being fair: Drew McIntyre got involved, and Shane was mid-push (for whatever reason). Fair enough, but there was no call for McMahon controlling an excruciating heat section midway through. The match was slow, dull and just didn't need to happen.

This is the kind of booking that pushed Roman into creating his brilliant 'Tribal Chief' character the next year. Even he was sick of WWE forcing everything he was involved in. The fact a sweaty Shane beat him on PPV this late in the game says everything about Vince's creative.
