10 WWE PPVs Fans Thought Would Totally Suck (But Didn’t)
10. Elimination Chamber 2015
If one counts other (non-NXT) specials, then Elimination Chamber 2015 fell midway through no less than 16 Network shows that year. That's... well, it's a sh*t load of content to sit through, and that's before fans even got to weekly telly like Raw or SmackDown. The Chamber seemed doomed to get lost in the shuffle.
It did, sort of, but it was still better than anticipated.
The opening Tag Team Title Chamber bout set the tone for the rest of the card. It's easy to forget how good Cesaro and Tyson Kidd were as a duo, and the same could be said of Sin Cara and Kalisto. Elsewhere on the card, another Chamber match for the Intercontinental Title turned itself from Daniel Bryan-less bore into a hidden gem.
Other matches like Kevin Owens vs. John Cena and Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose were also a lot of fun. The whole night had an NXT TakeOver-ish feel, meaning it's essential catch-up viewing for those who missed it first time round.
