From @Nivas_it: Any chance of WWE creating a WCW show like they did with ECW in 2006 to boost the business?
Not now. They probably should have done within five years of WCW ending, but it's way too late to do that now. WCW died 13 years ago. WWE can promote WCW shows on their Network or put out DVDs, but doing a new WCW show is pretty pointless in 2014 or in the future. The ECW One Night Stand shows in 2005 and 2006 were both outstanding. The reason for that is because ECW was a smaller promotion that people really rallied behind particularly because it was that third company. WCW was a rich company that was based around its TV shows. It's not like fans chant "WCW" at shows. They chanted "ECW" at shows in support of the company. That's a passion for ECW that WCW didn't have. There's enough nostalgia already in wrestling with WWE bringing in part time wrestlers or older guys that make appearances once in a while. The focus should be on the future.
