2. Wrestlers Contributions After Retirement

Ddp Yoga Interview
From @DizTrain: Which wrestlers have contributed the most to the industry since retirement? I imagine DDP is on the list.
The first name I thought of was DDP thanks to his yoga career. Another one is Chris Nowinski because of his work in examining head injuries of athletes. There are also a lot of guys like Lance Storm that are training others that are really helping the business that way. Diamond Dallas Page has really helped a lot of people thanks to his DDP Yoga program. Chris Jericho has said many times that it has allowed him to keep wrestling and has allowed him to fight back from back ailments as well as other things that have slowed him down. There's also the stories of Jake Roberts and Scott Hall, both of whom were in and out of rehab many times without being able to quit drinking. Once they went to their friend DDP they sobered up while also losing weight. Both were inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame this year. Then there are the active wrestlers that benefit from it as well. Regular folks are using it too. It's really been awesome. Chris Nowinski's work with the Sports Legacy Institute has been incredible. He's raising awareness for head injuries in sports while also creating this company that does a lot of the research for it. Concussions are a big deal. Organizations like SLI can help in treating them. It's going to save lives. Maybe the average person doesn't understand why it's so important, but if you follow sports then you know that this kind of thing has been needed for a very long time. The reason I singled out Lance Storm is because he was working for WWE in OVW after retiring. He was the trainer for a lot of wrestlers in the mid-2000s like Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and others. Now he's got a wrestling school in Calgary. Tyler Breeze and Emma, both of whom are in WWE now, trained with him. There are plenty of others too, but those are the ones that come to mind.
