From @Trelane_: With Brock Lesnar's schedule, do you think not having the champ on TV or PPVs is going to overall benefit or hurt the WWE product?
It's definitely hurting. They can say all they want that it's not a big deal or that it's not noticeable, but clearly it is. Lesnar's a guy that I'm a huge fan of, but my hope was that WWE would have some deal with him where he would wrestle at least one more time before the end of the year. Survivor Series would have been good. He's not going to wrestle until the Royal Rumble unless things change, so that's disappointing. Since WWE is in money saving mode, they are probably reluctant to pay him more money to work another major PPV match. It's understandable from their point of view. That doesn't mean they had to put the title on him, though. They can have him drop it to Roman Reigns or whoever at WrestleMania, but how does it make it look if that guy beats a champion with so few title defenses? Hopefully the next WWE Champion is a bigger star for beating Lesnar. However, it's far from a lock that it will happen.
