It's definitely that time of year where fans are expecting surprise returns because of Survivor Series coming up and of course the Royal Rumble, which has been known to have surprise appearances. However, I really don't expect to see CM Punk back any time soon. It would be great if CM Punk was back. He's one of my favorite performers in WWE and in my opinion has been the best overall performer in the last five years. He also seems content in staying away from the wrestling business. There's really no indication that he'll be back. It's nice that WWE is still selling some of his merchandise to get rid of it, but other than that it's nothing that is really significant. With all of that said, if Punk was coming back I doubt WWE would announce anything. It would probably be a surprise. Maybe in a year or two he'll be bored sitting at home and come back. Maybe not. We really don't know.
