7. Days Of The Traditional Heel Being Over

From @JustAndy59: With the @RandyOrton face turn happening are the days of the traditional heel over?
It's a fair question because there really aren't as many old school classic heels anymore. Recent examples of heels that were excellent that didn't pander to the fans were CM Punk after his 2012 heel turn and also Chris Jericho in that 2008/09 period. They didn't slap hands with the fans more make jokes on promos. They were mean all the time. That's what we need. The problem with heels today is they are just not mean enough. Some of them, like Bray Wyatt, pander to the fans way too much. This guy is doing promos about ripping people's hearts out, yet he's out there singing along with the people. That "we're here" thing he used to do before he entered was a face thing, not a heel. What WWE needs to do is remember what got guys like 2000 version of Triple H over. He was booked like a strong heel, but he was also never a guy to make jokes or try to be cool to the fans. Being a cool heel isn't a money making character. It's just throwing money away. We miss traditional heels because there aren't enough of them. That doesn't mean they can't come back, though.
