5. Cena Making It Tough For Others To Follow?

From €@AdamSven: Has John Cena raised the bar in what is expected of the "face" of WWE? His success in the ring combined with charity work etc. outside of it? Could this be why they are stalling on the next face of the company?
He's definitely made it difficult because of how successful he is as well as how charitable he is. Cena's a very likeable guy. When he does media interviews he comes off like a WWE robot that doesn't say anything too interesting or controversial even though he used to have a rapper gimmick where he made fun of people. To be the top guy and be really rich while doing so, you need to combine all the on screen stuff with the charity work. There's no celebrity in any genre that can touch Cena in terms of his Make-A-Wish work. Randy Orton became a top guy even before Cena, yet it's Cena that people look to as the biggest star of his generation because of all the other work he's done. What also makes it tough to find the next true face of the company is that Cena's 38 years old and may be going for another five years. We don't know when he might stop. Cena's out of the WWE Title picture for now, but it's not like he'll always be out of it. He said it himself in the interview with Chris Jericho earlier in the week. He would go heel if they could find somebody to do the things that he does. Good luck finding it.
