3. Which Chris Jericho Run Is The Best Of His Career?
This was a hard one, as I have several favourite Jerichos. No performer seems able to reinvent themselves with as much consistent success as Y2J, and it's genuinely hard to pick a favourite period of his career.
His bratty WCW gimmick is one of my favourite comedic personas in all of wrestling, with such skits as getting lost on his way to the ring and reading a list of his 1,004 holds living long in the memory.
Other great versions of Jericho include his suit-wearing, quietly menacing heel act, and his current 'so uncool it's cool' catchphrase-spouter.
However, I think my favourite Jericho persona is the ultra-cocky (but clearly ultra-insecure) heel he portrayed upon debuting in WWE in 1999. That opening promo perfectly summed up his character before he'd even set foot in the ring, and lit the touch paper for one of the most storied careers in WWE history.
