10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Jan 24)

3. Having A NXT Match At WrestleMania

From @SteveMurray: Do you think WrestleMania 31 should feature NXT talent? Like NXT Title match on pre-show or as an opener?
Yes absolutely, but I think it's unlikely. Considering that WWE barely mentions NXT on their main television shows it seems like a stretch to think they would put a NXT match on at WrestleMania. The only time they ever really put over NXT is by having a short match on Raw during the week of a NXT Takeover special. The next one of those is February 11, by the way. WrestleMania is a 4 hour PPV that will probably have a one hour Kickoff show. In a one hour Kickoff show, they could probably fit two or three matches if they want. What they should do is a NXT showcase six man tag match. Put the trio of Sami Zayn, Finn Balor and Itami on one side against Kevin Owens, Tyler Breeze and maybe Adrian Neville even though he's not a heel. Just give them 10-15 minutes, tell them to have the best match possible and let them entertain the fans. Due to WWE's lack of promotion of the NXT brand, which is ridiculous, a NXT Title match at WrestleMania 31 or any PPV seems like it's not going to happen.
