10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (July 12)

4. What Happened To New Day's Push?

From @SuperTeamKid: Did WWE kill New Day's push?
That's one way to put it, but it really is just a case of WWE wanting to put over the Prime Time Players, so that meant taking the tag titles away from New Day for a bit. Since Titus O'Neil won that "Father of the Year" award by fan vote, WWE likely really wanted to reward him for it. Then there's Darren Young, who is an openly gay wrestler. It's a good PR move by WWE to put the titles on them, but it's more than that because they needed to carry the gold at least a little bit to help legitimize the team. While The New Day are struggling with a 2-14 record in TV matches since June 1, it wouldn't be a shock if they get the tag titles back this month or next month. The best thing for the tag division is to put the titles back on New Day, then they can feud with Lucha Dragons as well as the Usos when Jey gets back from his shoulder injury in a few months. For now, The New Day are not as featured as they should. That doesn't mean it's over because another tag title reign is likely for them.
