10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (July 19)

9. WWE Ending PG Rating In Order To Win Fans Back?

From @BigDippa23: With ratings dropping, will getting the product to TV14 ever be a choice WWE will be forced to make by USA Network?
I really doubt it. This is a question that I get a lot just because all of us know that when WWE was TV14 especially in the Attitude Era, business was great and at all time highs. There are people that think if they ditch TVPG that WWE may not reach those levels again, but at least they can do significantly better than they are now when Raw and Smackdown are doing poor numbers. It seems unlikely that it will happen just because most of the contracts they have with sponsors - especially with toy company giant Mattel - are contingent on WWE being a PG, family friendly company. They can't just have guys swearing, women taking clothes off and blood everywhere. The best thing WWE can do is change the format of their shows a bit (that show opening promo is awful), ditch the third hour of Raw and try to make Smackdown matter again. Some really compelling storylines would be nice too. While the "never say never" phrase is overused in wresting, it does apply in this instance because maybe one day TV14 will be back, but I doubt it happens any time soon.
