10. Is Austin vs. Lesnar Likely?
From @JazzSian: What is the likelihood of Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar?
Since this is the most popular question especially this week, it's definitely worth talking about. We
set up a poll about it and it's looking about 60-40 in terms of fans thinking that it will happen. Prior to Monday's Austin podcast with Paul Heyman, that number may have been lower, but Austin ended the show answering Heyman's request about the match by saying he would kick Lesnar's a** if they had a match. If Austin responded by saying he's retired and has no interest in another match then that would be respectable while closing the door. Instead, a lot of people think it might happen because of what Austin said. There are a lot of factors in play since Austin is turning 51 years old this year and hasn't wrestled since 2003. He retired because of his neck injury as well as his bad knees. It's not like that stuff just goes away as you get older, so there is legit concern on what would happen if he wrestles. I still have my doubts about it happening because of Austin's health issues, but I think he's interested because it's working in front of 100,000 people in Dallas. He could make huge money doing that match while also doing something he loves one more time. I think it's a definite "maybe" that it will happen although what people need to remember is that the only vote that really counts is Austin.
