From @WrestleMike: If Cena beats Rusev at WrestleMania, could Rusev sustain momentum by winning Money in the Bank?
Sure. That's a good idea. Rusev is a talented "new" wrestler that has done well as a cheap heel that is capitalizing on America's issues with Russia. He has a lot of credibility as a guy that hasn't been pinned or submitted in the past year, but after his WrestleMania loss to Cena it's going to be important that he still has momentum. Giving Rusev the Money in the Bank win would be an awesome idea. It gives his manager Lana something to talk about and it will show the fans that he's still a threat to any title even though he's lost a match. It's always hard to predict who is going to win Money in the Bank or when that person might cash in, but as we sit here about three months away from that match it's fair to say that Rusev is a top contender. Rusev has WWE Champion potential. Might be this year. Maybe next year.
