8. Was The Bray Wyatt Vs. Randy Orton Angle A Good Thing?
Erin asks if I've decided whether Orton vs. Wyatt's recent compound-burning angle was a good or bad thing - and I genuinely don't know! It baffled me on Tuesday night, and continues to do so today.
On the positive side, it's certainly an interesting and intense direction for their storyline to take. We all knew that Randy was going to turn on Bray, but perhaps not to such a degree. I personally thought The Viper would wait until WrestleMania before taking advantage of some sort of loophole, thereby winning the WWE Championship. Instead, a straight one-on-one encounter looks to be on the cards (unless AJ Styles defies expectation and wins the no. 1 contender match next week).
On the other hand, if WWE were expecting to turn Randy Orton face here, it hasn't really worked. He looks merciless and cruel, while Wyatt's reaction at ringside drew sympathy more than scorn (at least from the masses online).
