4. Daniel Bryan's Role If He Retires?

From @MikeyTRRP: What sort of WWE role, if any, would you see Daniel Bryan in, should he have to retire? (Obviously, hope he doesn't!)
That's a tough one to think about because as you said the hope is that he doesn't have to retire and that he'll be able to come back from his neck/shoulder injuries in a few months or whenever it is. Most likely the role he'd be in if he couldn't wrestle would be the GM of Raw or Smackdown or both. It's not like WWE is going to keep The Authority out there as the people in power forever, so they could do an angle to oust them and have Bryan as the babyface authority figure similar to Mick Foley or Steve Austin in the past. He'd be really good at it because he's improved a lot on the microphone. Bryan also seems perfect in a role as a trainer or teacher of younger wrestlers. He's got so much experience working all kinds of styles that he would be able to help others get better. Bryan's also a very humble guy, so he'd likely have no trouble doing something like that. Bryan is 34 years old on May 22. Hopefully he can wrestle another five years and then worry about that other stuff down the road.
