Asked by @AdamPembrey: @WhatCultureWWE Is it complete coincidence that all the recent fan incidents have involved former Shield members?
This is in reference to the fan that jumped the railings and got a bit too close to Dean Ambrose for comfort on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago, the fan that threw a replica Money in the Bank briefcase at Roman Reigns' head during a house show, the fan that joined Seth Rollins on his walk to the ring on RAW, and finally the fan who jumped the railing and joined Dean and Roman in the ring before their Night of Champions match against the Wyatt Family. Rumours were circulating that this string of events was to be part of some far-fetched storyline that WWE were putting together, but the fact that the fan that jumped the rail last Sunday night has been sentenced to some jail time (really, not kayfabe) suggests this is far from the case. PWInsider reported that Oscar Ramirez was charged with criminal trespass of a property or building with no forced entry. The 37-year-old pled guilty and was sentenced to 10 days in jail. Nevertheless, it is strange how it's only the Shield members that have been approached in recent times. Maybe their ring walk - which, Roman still uses to this day of course - has backfired as fans now feel they're entitled to be up close and personal to the trio. It'll certainly be interesting to see if anything happens to them going forward.
