There's absolutely no chance of WWE recognising Chris Benoit ever again. You don't need me to tell you that what happened during the last weekend of his life has completely overshadowed his utterly stellar in-ring career. His double murder-suicide will be the first thing that pops into the mind of any wrestling fan - or wider member of society for that matter - when his name is mentioned. The WWE - and their Hall of Fame which, many believe the Canadian Crippler should be inducted into - would be tarnished and lambasted by every quarter should Benoit every be recognised in any form again. Heck, if Hulk Hogan is being written out of history off the back of some racial slurs that happened many years ago, there's no chance of Benoit ever working his way back in.
