10 WWE Records That Fans Absolutely Hate

6. Saudi Arabia Has Hosted The Most Real Pay-Per-Views Outside Of North America

Triple H Money

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the new hotspot for WWE pay-per-views.

Once upon a time, WWE's major events outside North America were few and far between. But then came the landmark deal with Saudi Arabia in 2018, and suddenly, the Kingdom became the go-to destination for WWE's global expansion.

Since then, Saudi has hosted a slew of high-profile events, including Crown Jewel, The Greatest Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, Night of Champions, and King and Queen of the Ring. It's almost like WWE found a second home in Riyadh and Jeddah. The partnership has been so "successful" that even the Royal Rumble is set to take place there in 2026.

There's a reason successful is written with inverted commas above...

WWE has made a lot of money from the deal, but countries with fans that've supported the company for decades feel short changed. The UK has been given three premium live events, with France, Germany, and Australia getting their own as well, but so many shows going to Saudi has been a kick in the teeth for patient fans.
