Forget the ensuing "lock box" fiasco, because Shane McMahon's big comeback on the 22 February 2016 edition of Raw sent chills running up and down the spines of all who witnessed it live. To their credit, both Vince and Stephanie also produced excellent facial expressions to sell their own shock.

This was as organic a moment as WWE could produce on an otherwise-contrived Monday night flagship that year, and it did promise shake-ups on the road to WrestleMania 32. At that moment, when Shane flashed a smile at his baby sister and dad, he was the man around those there parts.

The 'Boy Wonder' done good was back.

The best thing about it was that WWE successfully kept everyone off the scent. Reports had been rife in the media for years that Shane was happy doing his own thing outside the company, and that meant his Raw return caught everyone off guard.
