10 WWE Returns We Can Expect For 2018

With the shock announcement that Kurt Angle would be headlining the Hall of Fame earlier this year, the news signalled a welcome return home for WWE's prodigal son. After a decade in TNA, WWE fans worldwide are eager to see the Olympian don the singlet again in a WWE ring.

The 'Wrestling Machine' has made it known on repeated occasions that he is ready, willing, and able to go in the ring. For whatever reason, WWE themselves seem hesitant to let that happen. With Angle's health most likely their primary concern, Vince McMahon is biding his time before allowing Kurt to lace up the boots again under the WWE banner.

For many across the world - including Kurt himself - the decision seems more like an inevitability than a possibility and WrestleMania 34 is the perfect setting. As for opposition, the possibilities are virtually endless.

Angle has expressed an interest in squaring off with Seth Rollins in particular, while he has also mentioned AJ Styles' name several times in the past. Meanwhile, another round with his biggest adversary, Brock Lesnar, would surely pique the fans' interest. However, the most likely bet is a return against Triple H, given the safe style of 'The Game' and his position in the company.

Whatever the opposition, 2018 could be a career year for the 'Olympic Hero'.
