10 WWE Reunions That Were False Dawns

8. Team Hell No (2018)

Up until their unlikely partnership in 2012, Kane and Daniel Bryan had had more than moderate fortune as singles stars.

The pair - after undertaking anger management sessions - would go on to win the WWE Tag Team Championships. Bickering over who was in fact the outright 'Tag Team Champion', the two became fan favourites, leading to a WrestleMania win over Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston.

The two disbanded as Bryan began to hit home as an individual again.

Bryan, after becoming WWE Champion, would eventually retire due to multiple concussions, and Kane would step away from the ring to become the Mayor of Knox County.

Yet, in 2018 somehow the two would find themselves as active performers again on the SmackDown Live Roster, with Kane coming to aid - the recently returning - Daniel Bryan in his battle with the tag champs at the time, The Bludgeon Brothers.

At Extreme Rules, the two would attempt to claim the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, only for Kane to be injured backstage before the match by their foes. This meant that Bryan faced the two in a handicap match before Kane came out to assist him, only to still be defeated.

Before the team could ride the wave of momentum they were on, Kane would go down with a foot injury, causing WWE to fast track Bryan into his eagerly anticipated clash with The Miz.

It all looked so promising for Team Hell No, but all we got was one tag title match and The Big Red Machine wearing a cast.
