It's another NXT love storyline for AJ Lee. This one took place in the summer of 2011. Hornswoggle was receiving messages from a secret admirer. Week after week, different things were happening for him. He figured it was Maryse. He ended up going to a curtain that had a big reveal. AJ Lee walked out from behind a curtain and gave him a kiss. Maryse showed up to taunt them. That led to AJ saying that Hornswoggle was a great guy, Maryse called them both trolls and AJ smashed the flowers on Maryse's head. The romance lasted for about two months until Hornswoggle handed Titus O'Neil a letter to read out loud in front of AJ. It was a letter by Hornswoggle telling AJ that they couldn't be together for too much longer because Hornswoggle moved on to Smackdown. After the letter was read, AJ mentioned that she was on Smackdown too. In other words, the dude lied to her. What a guy. http://youtu.be/eBOT2G5zAoE Was there ever an explanation as to why Hornswoggle couldn't talk for all of those years? No there wasn't. Apparently being a little person wasn't enough for WWE to write bad sketches for him. They made him a mute too. Bad WWE at its worst.
